Dr. Nida Ahsan is an experienced compassionate and caring female family physician and offers comprehensive women’s healthcare and obstetrics with hospital privileges. Some other services she provides include pregnancy & prenatal care and IUD insertions & birth control counselling.
Dr. Nida Ahsan is also fluent in the following languages: English, Hindi (हिन्दी) & Urdu (اردو).
Clinic Operation Hours Notice
Booking & Walk-In Appointments for Rostered Patients
Rostered patients are always encouraged to call to book an appointment.
If you arrive at the clinic without an appointment, patients are asked whether they have a family doctor at our clinic. If you are rostered to one of our physicians, our staff will follow established clinic protocols to assist you.
Urgent Care Options
If no appointments are available and your concern is urgent, you may be:
• Advised to visit the Emergency Department, or
• Booked into the next available appointment, when possible.
If Your Doctor Is Unavailable
If your family doctor is not in clinic or there is no walk-in physician available, we will aim to book you into After-Hours Care.
Weekend Walk-In Care
If weekday options are unavailable, patients may be advised to attend our weekend walk-in clinic, where they can be seen by an available physician. Availability dependent on patient volume.

Visits
Only one medical issue per visit to ensure that all patients receive timely and efficient care. if you have multiple issues, please book for another day.
Prescription Policy
We do not prescribe narcotics and controlled substances.
Zero Tolerance
We do not tolerate any form of aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behaviour. This includes verbal or physical threats, harassment, or any inappropriate language.
No Show
There is a $50 no show fee. You must advise us 24hrs before your appointment to cancel.

Your Clinic Team – A Part of the Holly-Thompson Family Health Organization (FHO)
Starting April 1st, 2023, we will become the Holly-Thompson Family Health Organization (FHO), offering comprehensive primary care through a team of 7 family doctors for our enrolled patients. To ensure efficient service, we ask all patients to call and pre-book appointments rather than walking in, as unbooked visits are reserved for urgent cases or unenrolled patients. Our new model still provides same-day urgent care, with both in-person and virtual options, and includes extended hours on weekends and from 5-8 PM Monday through Thursday. We strongly discourage using other walk-in clinics or family doctors outside our FHO, as this prevents us from maintaining a complete medical history, potentially leading to errors and limiting our ability to provide effective follow-up care. Additionally, visits to external providers reduce our practice’s funding, as their OHIP billing is deducted from our resources.
